Sashie Sash

Hi! My name is Sasha. I am almost two! I can count to 17 all on my own (although it isn't always absolutely right) and I love to talk. all. day. long. (ask mum).  I live in Auckland with my mum and dad and two cats. One cat (Eri) leaves the room in terror every single time I come in - what's up with that? Our other cat Rikkah likes me slightly more, and sometimes she even rolls over in front me and shows me her belly. I like showing people my belly too so that is something we definitely have in common which is why we're friends I think. And we both like eating. A lot. Here is me trying to feed her by putting her tins right next to her. I'm so helpful!

So, let me tell you a bit about myself. This is my favourite place to blog:

And as you can see from the below picture, eating with my legs on the table is fun. Instead of telling me not to, my mum takes pictures! Phew.

Today mum and I went to the shopping centre. My doll April decided to have a sleep in the middle of the floor. So I lay down and slept with her. It was fun.

Last week I went to my friend Brodee's house (that's him in the background). My mum told his mum Rachel that she had heard of this cool stuff called Oooblek from reading this blog as my awesome friends in Kerikeri had a video with them playing with it, and then Rachel organised to have it at our group playdate at her house. This is me playing with it! Thanks Tom, Kate and Meg for the awesome idea!

Afterwards Lexie, Charlotte, Emma, Connor, Brodee and I played with some water. Both activities kept me entertained for approximately 64 seconds each (that's just over a minute mum says).

Does anyone else here like shoes? I am obsessed. I must ensure at all times that mum and dad are also wearing shoes because I get so much enjoyment from wearing mine that I don't want them to miss out on a single second. If I can't find my shoes though, I'm not fussy, I'll just try on the first pair I find.

And I also like swimming on my tummy. Sometimes we go down to Whiritoa (which is between Waihi and Whangamata) where my nanny has a bach. They have an awesome lagoon where lots of kids hang out with their boogie boards and I love it there.

Love seeing all your pictures and reading your blogs and getting to know you all better. Thank you so much - this is such a cool idea.

  1. Hi Sasha! I loved all the pictures you shared with us. Eri and Rikkah are the nicest cats i've ever met. Thats why I wanted to have one at my house so badly. I really like to wear shoes all the time as well, sometimes i try and wear my dads heavy army boots but then i can't lift my feet and fall over! We can't wait to see you in just a few weeks. Love Max and Renee x
